Apple Crisp

Apple Crisp

Serves: Makes Approximately Six Servings

Ingredients
  • 4 cups apples, cored, peeled and sliced
  • ½ cup water
  • 1½ tsp. tabletop stevia
  • 2 Tbs. all-purpose flour
  • 1½ tsp. ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1½ tsp. tabletop stevia
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1½ tsp. ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 1½ Tbs. brown sugar, packed
  • ⅛ tsp. salt
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Place apples in a large bowl and sprinkle with water, stevia, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg. Toss to evenly coat the apples.
  3. Spray a 9-inch square baking dish with cooking spray and arrange apple mixture in the bottom of the pan.
  4. In a separate, small bowl combine oats, sweetener, flour, cinnamon, butter, brown sugar and salt. Stir until the mixture is crumbly.
  5. Sprinkle crumb mixture evenly on top of the apples in the baking dish.
  6. Place baking dish in the oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, until the apples are bubbly and the crisp is golden.
  7. Serve warm, room temperature or cold.
